Ludlow Farmshop Meets The Ludlow Nut Company

Earlier this month, our Retail Manager, Jess Harrison, met with The Ludlow Nut Company’s founder, Helen, to discuss our close relationship as local businesses over the years.

Helen from The Ludlow Nut Company comments:

“When we set up The Ludlow Nut Company in 2005, we couldn’t have imagined the journey that awaited us. Sharing our love for food with our wonderful stockists has been a huge part of this journey. One such stockist is Ludlow Farmshop, who we’ve been working with for many years.”

Speaking to Jess, Helen got an insight into our relationship with The Ludlow Nut Company over the years. Jess explains that Ludlow Farmshop’s mission is to decrease the miles between field and fork and support independent producers in the area. She feels passionate about working closely with buyers to showcase independent brands and celebrate their stories.

Describing Ludlow Farmshop’s relationship with The Ludlow Nut Company, Jess says it’s a “really positive, long-standing one”. She determines that the key to the long-standing relationship has been the “helpful team” keeping Ludlow Farmshop stocked with a range of cereals, nuts and snacks and their help in sourcing ingredients that the farm shop would otherwise be unable to find in the market.
