Tasty tomatoes from our Walled Garden have arrived!

Sunny summer weather has helped produce a very good crop of tasty tomatoes from our Walled Garden.

Our tomatoes are grown naturally, without the use of pesticides or herbicides. Instead, our Head Gardener makes his own comfrey tea – a liquid organic fertiliser made by steeping comfrey leaves in water for six weeks. It’s rich in vital nutrients, particularly potassium, which tomatoes love.

Freshly picked and full of flavour, the tomatoes travel just one mile from our Walled Garden to Ludlow Farmshop. The crop will only be available for another few weeks so make the most of them whilst they are here!
